What this application does is to create a vault on your portable USB stick. By placing files in the vault you can rest assured that they are safely stored; and you can just put the USB stick in your pocket and take it with you. So to sum it up, you have an efficient means of protecting and carrying important, sensitive files with you.

Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8 are supported by USB Vault. To install the application on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions, you will have to perform the following tasks: download a small archive (less than 1MB), extract and run the installer inside the archive, select the USB device on which you want to install the application, and set the password that will protect access to the secure vault.

You will notice a USB Vault executable on your USB stick. When you run it, you will be presented with a password prompt. As a little side note, you can pick one of three skins or color schemes for this prompt: blue, green, or black. After you enter the correct password and hit Unlock, you will be granted access to the safe vault created on your USB stick.

You can place any data you want in the vault. Just copy or move the files you want into the secure vault on your USB stick. When you’re done, close USB Vault and your data will be safely stored inside the vault. When you need to access it, just re-open the vault.

Please note that USB Vault is not free, it is only free to try. The trial will expire after 21 uses.

Thanks to USB Vault you have a safe means of storing files when you’re on the go.

Pros

Installing USB Vault on a portable device is a straightforward matter. There are several skins or color schemes to choose from. Enter a hint, just in case you forget your password. Safely store files inside the secure vault the application creates.
